When starting DDE Server, you can use the starting parameter. Exe form of process with the starting parameters is following:
d2dde.exe /parameter1 /parameter2 ... /parameterN
| parameter | meaning |
| /AUTOLOGON | The program detects whether the function autologon of an operating system is active. If yes, the program tries to automatic logon to the information system by the mean of name and password for autologon of operating system. If it falls, a user has to logon. |
| /NOWINDOW | DDE Server is started without displaying of the main window. The logon dialog box occurs if necessary (if the automatic logon is not defined). |
| /TRACE | Enables the debugging. The buttons Open Debug and Status will be enabled in the dialog window. |
| /TRACELOG | Creates a log file with the log information. |

| /AF<Method> | See a description of the start parameter of processes - /AF<Method>. |
