The automatic recalculation must be set to ensure correct recalculation of all expressions in the cells of workbook including DDE references. This setting is default.
Change of recalculation to Automatic
- Choose Options from Tools menu.
- Click on Calculation tab.
- Tick off Automatic in Calculation.
- Then press OK.
