The process Event Handler is the administrator of all objects of Event type. Events are objects of D2000 system, which provide facilities to handle system events (incidents). The process provides for starting and execution of events. Event Handler has no desktop for interaction with user.
The process includes the check of continuous request processing. In normal conditrions, a request must be processed within a few seconds. If the check finds out that a request is being processed longer than defined timout, the process D2000 Event Handler will be terminated and the file event.log will contain the following log:

activity description - activity performed by the process
120 - timeout [s] defined by the start parameter
/FI
If the timeout is not defined, its default value is /FI120.
