The Trayport protocol is designed to communicate with the Trayport Joule electronic trading solution for energy markets (formerly the Trayport Gateway Server).
The communication is implemented as a dynamic library (trayport.dll) for Windows, which creates an interface to the Trayport COM object and implements external functions available from ESL scripts. Therefore, communication with Trayport does not use the D2000 KOM process, but is implemented via ESL scripts.
Trayport.dll implements event prioritization (e.g. Trade events have higher priority than Order events) to optimize work under heavy loads.
For more information about the Trayport protocol, contact Ipesoft's sales department.
