D2000 Archiv is the process providing for the acquisition, processing, and distribution of historical values. It is used to archive all D2000 system objects, which have a value. Using a database of SQL type allows to archive a large data quantity and provides a high level of data integrity.

Possible use of the archive:
- Displaying historical values in the form of graphs (via D2000 HI)
- Print of protocols and compositions (via D2000 WorkBook)
- Calculation of statistics
- Data export into other systems
The process Archiv has no desktop for interaction with users.
