Monitoring and controlling of D2000 system objects

You can monitor and control D2000 system objects by means of the environment of process D2000 HI. This chapter describes the control using control windows which are available from pictures, Browser displayer or when adding objects into Browser. Type of control window and presence of particular controls depends on user's access rights. Individual types of control windows are described in the following topics:

The access to control parameters can be limited, providing that someone already controls the given parameter. In this case, the user is informed about the limited access rights.

Note:

1. The process D2000 HI allows to enable the old appearance of control windows - the option Old control windows in the Console preferences (or User preferences) dialog box.
2. Possibility to disable opening control windows - for more information see the on-line guide D2000 System Configuration, the chapter D2000 SAS - Operation.
3. If the picture is in history mode only historical values of the picture are displayed in information window. When the picture is switched to/out the history of picture the controlling/information window opened by given picture will be closed.
