Before the D2000 installation, it is necessary to install some operating system components and applications. The following overview shows all of the installation requirements for the D2000 system.
The D2000 systems need the following prerequisites for their operation:
- Linux OS on x86-64 or ARMv7 architecture
- systemd
- PostgreSQL server 9.5+
- PostgreSQL ODBC driver
The D2000 systems are tested on distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Ubuntu, CentOS, openSUSE, Raspbian
To connect a client to the D2000 Server, a network data transfer speed of at least 100 Mbit/s is recommended.
Other recommended tools and diagnostic utilities:
- iotop (disk load detection)
- perf (CPU load detection)
- iperf3 (network load detection)
