Off-line system configuration - D2000 SysEdit
!!! WARNING: Process D2000 SysEdit is not supported from Version 7.2 and later !!!
Most of functional properties are available in process D2000 CNF within the On-line configuration:
- Naming
- Change parent
- Copying and mass updates - combination of XML_EXPORT + xmltocsv.exe and csvtoxml.exe + XML_IMPORT
- Export and import of object configuration - XML_EXPORT and XML_IMPORT
- Corrections of stations and I/O tags (REF)
- Change the object name
- Corrections of stations and I/O tags (CSV) - it is not supported
- Reconnect of pictures - it is not supported
- Change of the server number - it is not supported
- Printing of configuration and documentation - it is preparing
Previous description of process D2000 SysEdit
Off-line configuration of a D2000 system application is allowed by the D2000 SysEdit process. Using the tool allows the user to:
- set the prefixes and suffixes for D2000 system objects (naming),
- create, modify and delete D2000 system objects,
- define more complicated filter conditions for object selection,
- copy objects,
- perform multiple changes of object configuration,
- change the object parent,
- change the object name,
- export and import a configuration of D2000 system objects,
- create and modify I/O tags and stations using a correction,
- create historical values,
- reconnect pictures,
- generate the reference documentation.
D2000 SysEdit start parameters:
/C name of the application for which you want to run D2000 SysEdit
/B Number of backup copies of the configuration database
Example: To run the D2000 SysEdit process for the application with the name D2TEST and to save last three modifications of the configuration database before running, you can run the D2000 SysEdit process as follows:
Sysedit.exe /CD2TEST /B3
