By D2000 system services we mean specific 'enterprise' functionality implemented in Java/Java EE which is integrated into D2000 as independently running program (.exe). The functionality of the service is written in the form of RPC procedures that can be used directly by D2000 (e.g. from kernel) or by application programmers. Services publish their functionalities through JAPI, that is why they are not connected directly on kernel but connect through D2Connector.exe. D2Connector process is launched and administrated individually, independently of running services. Services for its functioning need to get connection-string on D2Connector as a parameter while launching.
