Delete a value from the archive

User, in dependence on his/her access rights to the archive, can delete particular historical values from the archive. The following procedure describes how to delete one particular value of an archive object, assuming that the dialog box displaying values of the particular archive object is opened on D2000 HI desktop  - the topic Browse historical values.

To delete an archive object value

1. Click the value you want to delete in the dialog box displaying values that were read from the archive database.
2. Click the Delete button.

• A value deleted from the archive is not removed really from the archive database. The system will automatically assign the special archive attirubute DELETED to this value.
