Transition process alarms

Transition process alarms are generated changing the states of I/O Tag or Eval Tag type objects. This type of process alarms are acknowledgement-required ones.

The status diagram of transition process alarms is in the following figure.

If the condition to start the alarm is met then alarm flag, a flag of unacknowledged alarm and type of alarm which has started, are set to particular object value. Both the flags are cancelled after the alarm acknowledgement and the type of the alarm is set to the NoAlarm state.

Note: Only status process alarms are evaluated for default value of I/O Tags. Transition alarms are ignored.
