%WeekDay function

Function
The function returns the time component  - weekday - of given absolute time.
Declaration
INT %WeekDay(
   TIME in Arg,
   INT  in timeZone :=  %GetTimeZone()
 )

Parameters
Arg Function argument.
timeZone Forced time zone to convert to a local time. It is set as a time zone offset from UTC during winter in seconds.

Note

The following values are assigned to the days of week:

  • Monday = 1
  • Tuesday   = 2
  • Wednesday   = 3
  • Thursday  = 4
  • Friday   = 5
  • Saturday   = 6
  • Sunday   = 0

Example
%WeekDay(SysTime)     ; the result is the current weekday of the system time
