The dialog box for creating an archive is opened by selecting the Create a new archive from the Actions menu.
- Click the Configuration menu and select KERNEL or
Dialógové okno slúžiace na vytvorenie archívu sa otvorí výberom položky Vytvoriť nový archív z menu Akcie.
- Kliknite na menu Konfigurácia a vyberte voľbu KERNEL alebo SELF.ARC.
- Potom v menu Akcie vyberte položku Vytvoriť nový archív.
- V zobrazenom dialógovom okne zaškrtnite voľbu Sybase12 a stlačte tlačidlo Vytvoriť.
- Otvorí sa nasledovné okno:
- Zadajte potrebné parametre a stlačte tlačidlo Vytvoriť.
Parametre archívu:
- Then select Create New Archive from the Actions menu.
- In the dialog box that appears, check the Sybase12 option and press the Create button.
- The following window will open:
- Enter the required parameters and press the Create button.
Archive Parameters:

| Spusti ako inštanciu tieňového archívu | Zaškrtnutie voľby zabezpečí, že v prípade reštartu procesu D2000 Server, proces D2Start nevykoná reštart databázového servera tohto archívu. Voľbu sa odporúča použiť v prípade redundantných systémov v D2000, ak sú nakonfigurované tieňové archívy na strojoch, kde beží aj D2000 Server, aby nedochádzalo k prerušeniu spojenia na databázový server. Databázový server archívu a databázový server procesu D2000 Server musia byť rôzne. |
Poznámka: Po úspešnom vytvorení archívu je, v prípade potreby, možné zmeniť umiestnenie archívu (fyzické), pričom je potrebné správne nastaviť aj cesty v uzle archívu v D2000 Application Manager.

Run as a Shadow Archive Instance | Checking this option will ensure that if the D2000 Server process is restarted, the D2Start process will not restart the database server of this archive. |
Note: After successfully creating the archive, in case of need it is possible, to change the location of the archive (physical), while it is necessary to set the paths in the archive node in the D2000 Application Manager correctly.
