Server Event

Server Event, analogous to Start up event, is started automatically:

• after starting its parent (the D2000 Event Handler process)
• after saving it while its parent (process D2000 Event Handler) is running
• after calling the OPENEVENT action

The automatic start is activation of the script initialization part. After termination of this part, the event remains in the state Running and "waits" for incidents, that activate the handling procedure.

The incidents may be generated by:

• value change of the monitored object. Value monitoring is controlled by the action ON CHANGE.
• a remote procedure call of the event.
